What a wonderful quirky restaurant! I thoroughly enjoyed my retirement lunch here with my work colleagues. I am gluten and dairy free and was delighted to find that I could have their classic duck, waffle and egg dish. We sat at a table in the quiet feathery nest area at the end of the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and even presented me with a special decorated plate and wee gluten and dairy free chocolate cake for my retirement. I haven't experienced such excellent service for a while. Staff were highly trained in allergens and very knowledgeable about what options I could have. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
Genuinely impressed. Felt like a Michelin experience. Food was incredible and interesting. Super flavor, yet quite reasonable prices for a special night out. (5 dishes and two drinks for £112) Waiters so professional. This was a real treat and so unexpected. Love love love.

Excellent experience! Very nuce food almost if not ala'carte. Very friendly staff. Very professional and feel homely at the same time. Hard to do in this type of place, but they have pulled it off! If in London I will try it there but if in Edinburgh it's a must if you are planning a night out! IMHO.
